Paper Mache Mask
|
| Create a paste using two parts of white glue mixed well with one part warm water. Have students cut or tear newspaper into strips and soak these in the paste. Students blow up a balloon and cover it with at least two layers of strips, smoothing them out as they go. After allowing the project to dry, students should cut the sphere in half for two masks and add another layer of newspaper and paste if needed. Then they cut out holes for eyes, paint and decorate. |
