Whatever Crops Up

| To crop a picture is to cut away or eliminate part of it so it fits a particular size or emphasizes a specific item. Practice cropping pictures from the newspaper. If a column is one column wide and two inches long it is called 2 column inches. How many column inches are in one news story? Ads can be measured the same way. On one the newspaper how many column inches are ads and how many are editorial? Make bar graphs showing your results. |
