What's the Point?

Find a cartoon on the editorial page. What point do you think the cartoonist is trying to make? Why would a newspaper include such a cartoon?

Cut out of the newspaper every picture of an animal which you would see on a trip to the zoo. Paste them in a scrapbook. BONUS: Do some research to see from what country/continent each animal first came.

Where might you find the most clothes made from animal furs? Natural fibers? What advantages would there be in using man-made fibers?
