Changing Heads
Sometimes headlines have to be rewritten. An editor may not like the choice of words used by the headline writer. Pretend you are rewriting a headline and use as many synonyms as you can for the words in a newspaper headline. For fun change the meaning entirely by substituting antonyms.

Secret Message
Cut out individual letters and/or words to form a message. Glue it on a piece of paper and send your message to a classmate. Can he/she guess who it is from?
